Magic Forest Full-49A Magic Forest is an enchanted place to celebrate your little gnome or fairy’s birthday! We offer several birthday package options to meet your needs and budget, all of them suited to the spirit of A Magic Forest. We’ve partnered with local bakers, chefs and restaurants who specialize in organic or all-natural, kid-friendly fare, and our entertainers are engaging, fully of energy, and most importantly, love children! All of our party packages offer exclusive use of the entire store, and much more! Magic Forest Full-11

A Magic Forest Mini Party $375

  • Private use of A Magic Forest for 2 hours for up to 10 children; unlimited adults (but not to exceed overall headcount of 45)
  • Party assistant to help with set up and clean up 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after allotted party time, as well as during the party
  • Use of wooden tables and chairs with neutral-colored linens
  • Use of traditional Waldorf birthday ring
  • Keepsake felt crown for the birthday child
  • Return play pass for the birthday child
  • Additional children (up to 12 max total for party)………………………$12/child
  • **Over 12 children requires automatic upgrade to one of the other three A Magic Forest party packages; likewise if adult headcount puts you over 45 people, you must upgrade**

A Magic Forest Do-it-Your-Way Party  $450

  • Perfect for families who want to plan their own party**
  • Private use of A Magic Forest for 2 hours for up to 15 children; unlimited adults (but not to exceed overall headcount of 60)
  • Two party assistants to help with set up and clean up 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after allotted party time, as well as during the party

*We do not allow any form of celebration in the store outside of reserved party times.  Please no cake/cupcakes, singing, candles, gifts, decorations, etc during regular open play hours.

PRIVATE PARTY RENTAL AGREEMENT & POLICIES

  • A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date and time. Once you book your party, this is not refundable under any circumstance.
  • NO DATE CHANGES PLEASE.  If you decide you must change your date for any reason, you will be charged an additional $50; date changes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse a date change.
  • If you CANCEL the party, you will be charged the full price of the party if less than 20 days from the booked date.
  • OUR FIRECODE CAPACITY IS 60.  OVERALL HEADCOUNT MAY NOT EXCEED 60. FURTHERMORE, YOUR TOTAL CHILD HEADCOUNT CANNOT EXCEED 25. PLEASE PLAN YOUR GUEST LIST ACCORDINGLY. If you go over our firecode capacity, you will be charged an additional $25 for each child and adult that puts you over capacity.
  • If you are undecided on your party package when you reserve your party, you must choose no later than 2 weeks in advance and commit to the package so that we can staff and plan accordingly.
  • We will do a final head count the day of your party and charge accordingly.  If you booked a Mini and more than 12 children arrive, you will automatically be charged for the “A Magic Forest Do-it-Your-Way Party” and billed a la carte for any add-ons you requested. Party downgrades are not offered the day of the party– i.e. if you book a DIY and only 10 children show up, you still get charged for a DIY.
  • Full payment is due at the end of the party.  Any overage will be charged $65/half-hour, in half-hour increments.
  • An 18% service charge will be added to the final bill. Extra gratuities are welcomed.
  • No itemized substitutions, please.
  • Waivers must be signed for all children/guests attending and all guests must abide by store policies, i.e. no shoes, food, and beverages in the carpeted play areas.  Adults must wear socks. Furthermore, you and your adult guests are responsible for supervising children, not A Magic Forest staff.
  • No candy, bubbles, piñatas, silly string, glitter, confetti, or anything of the like that would be difficult to clean, or more importantly, presents a choking hazard, is allowed in the store. Please check with us beforehand and bear this in mind if you are planning a “treasure hunt” for your child’s party.
  • Most outside food and beverages are welcome, with the exception of pizza and coffee. If you want to bring in your own pizza and/or coffee, you will be charged a $15 fee. We cannot accommodate anything that requires heat or flame to warm it up, or that would be excessively messy.  Please check with us beforehand if you are not sure. NO GLASS, please, and we cannot allow red wine.
  • If you bring in outside food, please make sure it is already prepped for display–food preparation like cutting, mixing, and decorating is not allowed on site.
  • We do allow outside entertainment vendors, but they must be aware of our policies ahead of time and will be asked to comply with them (for example, no shoes in the play area).
  • You may decorate only in the party room.  We cannot attach anything to our walls or from the ceiling, but you may hang a banner in the doorway of the party room and between the two windows.
  • If you or your guests fail to comply with policy, and the play area gets dirty as a result, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $150.00.  No exceptions. In addition, if there is excessive clean up necessary in the rest of the store, you will be charged a minimum $50 cleaning fee.
  • Please open presents at home.
  • All prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
  • Failure to sign this agreement after booking your party with a deposit does not release you from fulfilling the obligations and abiding by the policies outlined within it.
